In this position, you'll have the opportunity to: help perform general administrative duties to support the Human Resource team and the plant leadership team.
Key
Responsibilities:
Maintain associate data and changes in the PeoplePoint system
Process payroll for hourly associates and maintain payroll related files and systems
Administration and tracking of leave requests (FMLA, STD, etc.)
Take lead in recruitment of hourly associates (technical positions) and managing the CO-OP program
Provide support in staffing of temporary, hourly and salary associates
Take lead in updating weekly staffing report and logging of hourly associate job / shift preference requests
Track hourly performance evaluations and distribute monthly associate list
Maintain associate files (personnel, medical, I-9, etc)
Process and track drug screening results
Conduct new hire orientations for hourly and salary associates
Coordinate CO-OP program and report out meetings
Respond to state unemployment requests for termination documentation
Complete Employment Verifications
Maintain id card and door swipe systems
Track and administer quarterly perfect attendance program
General benefits administration duties
Process payroll for all local hourly associates
Organize company functions and community relation activities
Assist in resolving associate concerns/issues and providing excellent customer service to our associates
Other duties as assigned
Successful candidates will have:
Bachelors Degree required
Proficient use of computers: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
Minimum of one to three years of administrative or HR experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work overtime as needed
